Shady Park is a must-visit spot in Tempe! This lively place has a great vibe, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or unwinding after a long day. I absolutely love their spicy ramen--it's packed with flavor and has just the right amount of heat! The avocado cucumber rolls are another favorite of mine; they're so fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is fun and inviting, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy some amazing food. The staff is friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall great experience. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check out Shady Park. You won't be disappointed!

Live the ambiance and food here. The cute gnome mascot is a sign that this place is all about fun. The matcha colada a delish, and the wings were definitely unique, but so good.

I got the spicy shoyu ramen and added a soft egg. It was pretty good, but not the best ramen I've had. It was a tad salty and I wish the pork wasn't shredded; I prefer the sliced chashu pork. It could've been spicier for me too because I love spicy food. But overall, it was delicious and very filling. My brother and his fiancé love coming here, and they think it's one of the best ramen places around. He always gets the super tan tan, and she gets the spicy shoyu. The music they played was questionable. It didn't match the vibe at all. They played loud screamo music and some of the songs were very explicit. I don't think there were any kids around to hear, but I've never been in a restaurant that played this stuff. I didn't care listening to those songs while hanging out with family eating ramen and sushi lol. The waitress was nice. She was very friendly and got us everything we needed. To summarize, good food, good service, meh music.

This place was the ONLY place that had superb service out of all the places I visited while I was in Tempe. The $10 Cup O' Noodles Special is insanely priced. You get a cup of Ramen, a pint of Kirin, and a hot Sake for only $10. Heck, I sometimes pay more than that to dine at a freaking Mickey D's! And the cup of ramen that you get with this deal is big enough to fill me up. Yeah, you have to pay more for protein, it's still worth it. Our server was super cool and super friendly. I want to say her name was Ashley, but honestly, I can't remember. She was this super nice tatted girl in glasses with an awesome smile. Kudos to the only server in all of Tempe who actually provided awesome service! Next time I'm in Tempe to attend Innings Fest, I'm definitely making a stop here again.

When you walk in it feels like a hole in the wall that may be a cool place to grab a drink, but don't stop there. Look at the menu. Lots of options, but it is the ramen that is the star of this show. It is CRAZY. Big bowl filled with lots of noodles and whatever extras you want. I had the "miso hungry." My soft egg was perfect and of course I ordered fried chicken on the side (for only $4.50 that is almost a meal in itself). As others have said the broth is a little salty, but it was delicious and worth it. Service was friendly and on point. They bill at the table without actually giving you a bill- our server just showed me the total on the hand held device. I don't love this but I'm sure it saves them time. Worth it for the food!

The first time I was here was last October with a big group of friends. The food was unforgettable, service great, and the ambiance cool. I didn't enjoy the drink that was recommended to me but others did theirs. I should stay away from alcohol anyway since I'm never much of a fan. When back in town recently, I searched old texts to figure out where we went. I was so happy I found it. I couldn't remember which rice I previously got and mistakenly ordered the wrong one. The staff was so nice to replace it for the correct one. I was not enjoying the House Rice and was thankful to have the Egg Fried Rice. The rolls were nice as well.

Ramen broth is salty but that's what I like. I got the tan tan and was not disappointed... the amount of noodles does not seem like extra.... If it was it's prolly cause I'm fat. Customer service is great.

Shady Park is one of my favorite places to go that I don't get to go to very often. It's amazing that a hole in the wall kind of place can have such amazing food. The happy hour deals are so good (1/2 off sake bombs, $5 edamame, $3 rolls) and there are legitimately options for everyone. I've had multiple of their specialty rolls and I've never been disappointed; one of my faves is the pop off because who could ever say no to jalapeños in a roll! The ramen broth when made spicy is the perfect flavor and the noodles are always perfectly cooked. The plain broth that my kiddo gets is a little bland, but last time he got fried chicken and rice and was super pleased. The rice was only a little sticky and they added a little butter on top for him to add a little flavor and make it a little softer. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked and the seasoning was out of control (I stole some from him). Service is hit or miss but last time we were there our server was incredible (waters were never empty, food was fast, and he was friendly). So glad they stayed in business. Next time I'll be better and take pictures too.

I ordered both the Curry Paitan ramen and Laughlin Nevada sushi roll and they were both great. The ramen had very generous portions of diced chicken, veggies, and noodles. The roll was fried to perfection and was super filling. The service at the bar can be kinda choppy at times, but then it got better. The ambiance was club-like with nice Asian artwork.
